Karen Abell
Karen and her husband, Vero Beach mayor Sabe Abell, have been strong supporters of the Indian River Land Trust since they moved to Vero Beach from Vermont in 1999. Karen has been an outstanding supporter of the Indian River Land Trust as both a board member and advisor. In addition to her contributions to the Indian River Land Trust, Karen is an active board member of McKee Botanical Garden. Professionally, she is an associate with Charlotte Terry Real Estate in Vero Beach. She lives with her husband in Old Riomar and enjoys tennis, walking, cooking and entertaining. (A dinner invitation from the Abells is a real treat!) They have three children and two grandchildren.
